Rachel Jevon

Introduction

Rachel Jevon is known as a poet on the basis of two poems, one in Latin, the other in English, on the Restoration of Charles II in 1660. No manuscripts of her work are recorded, but only two unsuccessful petitions she made for a position at court (JeR 1-2).
